Meet Savanah

Hi, I’m Savanah, founder and head trainer of Canine Coaching in Boynton Beach, Florida.
I was born and raised in Florida and have always been drawn to animals — the misunderstood, the sensitive, the wild. I’ve worked with everything from snakes and cats to dogs of all temperaments, and I bring that same calm, intuitive approach to every dog I train.

Before becoming a professional trainer, I worked as a veterinary technician. But no matter what job I took, I found myself craving more purpose, more creativity, and more freedom. I’ve never been the kind of person who could stay somewhere just to ā€œget by.ā€ I always had too many ideas and too much vision to fit in someone else’s box.

Eventually, I left my job with nothing but determination (and a little chaos) to pursue dog training full-time — and I’ve never looked back.

The Dog That Changed Everything

My journey as a trainer really began with my dog, Lydia.
After losing my heart dog, Bindi, I rescued Lydia from my aunt’s rescue. What I didn’t know was that she was part wolf — and would soon turn my world upside down.

She destroyed furniture, escaped crates, and tested every ounce of patience I had. But through her, I learned that ā€œbad behaviorā€ is almost always a reflection of confusion, not defiance. I quit my job, packed up my things, and took her to a training school in Ohio for two months.

Lydia taught me more about leadership, communication, and trust than any book ever could. She’s still by my side today — calm, grounded, and balanced — the ultimate reminder that no dog is too far gone, and no human is too inexperienced to learn.

My Training Philosophy

I practice balanced training — a fair, reward-based approach that combines positive reinforcement with clear communication and structure.
I use tools like prong and e-collars responsibly to help dogs understand, not fear.

But more than anything, I focus on relationship.
Because obedience alone doesn’t create peace — connection does.

My clients learn to lead with calm confidence, not emotion. Together, we work toward clarity and consistency so that both dog and human can thrive.

Structure gives freedom. Clarity builds confidence. Balance creates peace.
